Who said Christian women can't have fun?
It is so easy for us to get caught up in the things we cannot do, that we forget that we have freedom in Jesus. There are so many things Christian women can do this summer without compromising our beliefs and values. It's time to have a Holy Girl Summer. Want to see how? Keep reading sis!
So let's get right into it. We've heard the term "hot girl summer." When you look up how to have a hot girl summer, there are things Christian women cannot do without compromising. So to help us out, I created a Holy Girl Summer bucket list and summer bingo card to remind you of ways to have fun, while growing in your faith and strengthening your relationships! This persona of sitting inside in Little House on the Prairie dresses cleaning and reading our Bible is done! We can do that and be outside too!

Why did I decide to do this? We don't know what the future holds and if we learned anything from 2020, life is SHORT. As an introvert, it is hard for me to find a reason to leave the house except for essentials. I thrived during lock down. But once outside opened, I realized just how isolating and boring that can be. It is also a very dangerous place for us as believers to be in. Raise your hand if your mental health took a hit during lockdown! Isolation is the enemy's playground. John 10:10 calls the enemy a thief, coming to steal, kill and destroy. To steal your joy, to kill your passions and to destroy the plans of God for your life. The devil is a liar!
Even though I understood all of that, I did not change my habits. So, this year I decided, I was going to find a way to be an introvert while still gaining new experiences. I am a checklist person, I like to write out a plan and then take the steps to implement them. So, I took the same concept and found things that Christian women can do this summer.
I hope you find something on this list that sparks an "I can do this" spirit, that may lead you to doing several items on the bucket list. To make it a little more fun, I added a bingo card. It has slightly different activities on it, but I would encourage you to share it with your friends and challenge them to all do bingo and create a prize for the winner.
If you are looking for a community of women to do the challenge with, head on over to the Flourishing in Faith Co. Facebook Community there is a prize for the first bingo winner. It's not too late to join us.
