Who doesn't love a good Amazon must haves list?!

Christmas shopping? Looking for a gift idea? In need of a new devotional? Look no further, I have created a list to help those looking for where to start on things that will help them on their faith journey, because after all, the goal is to always be flourishing in faith and you can't flourish without the proper items. Now I must admit some of these items are not necessary, but they make it more fun! So let's get into it my Amazon Must Haves for Christian Women.

Bibles

Let's start with the most important item. A Bible.

Honestly once you get started you tend to need more than one, different translations, commentary, and the new trend, journaling Bibles. I have personally been watching the commentary Bible and the journaling Bible.

The Daily Walk Bible NLT

Each day is assigned a reading of the Bible from cover to cover. Each day's reading includes a bird's eye view of the day's reading, a short devotional and on the 7th day there is a pause to reflect on the readings from the previous week. I have been reading this one since January 2023 and I strongly recommend this Bible, along with purchasing a Bible Study notebook or journal to capture your thoughts especially during the reading prompts.

Tony Evans Study Bible

This is the study Bible I have been watching for myself and to gift to a family member. We are both big on digging deeper on understanding the Bible. Dr. Tony Evans is a very influential church leader and is the senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Texas. I highly recommend his sermons, his books and this study Bible.

CBS She Reads Truth Bible

This Bible has about 200 devotionals, 20 maps, wide margins for journaling, reading plans for every book of the Bible and a one-year Bible reading plan. This Bible has it all and is absolutely a must have for your study time.

Devotionals and Books

Another way to grow in the Word is through devotionals and books. The authors journey with you through anecdotal excerpts and relatable topics to help you learn, understand and grow in your knowledge of God.

40 Days Through the Bible: The Answers to Your Deepest Longings

Everyone sets a goal to read their entire Bible, but sometimes that goal is not as attainable as it seems. 40 days, Genesis to Revelation, this is a must have. The author, Lysa TerKerust is the president of Proverbs 31 Ministries and has written many books and devotionals helping women like us navigate life from a the perspective of a Christian woman. This devotional is 8 weeks long tracing the major themes of the Bible. Definitely a great devotional to do with yourself or a group of friends.

100 Days of Believing Bigger

This devotional also doubles as a journal to guide you through learning how to believe bigger. The devotional covers 10 topics that us Christian women face regularly where sometimes we allow doubt, fear and insecurities keep us from believing bigger. The author, Marshawn Evans Daniels is a life coach who mentors women in faith and business.

When Faith Meets Therapy

This book is written by Anthony Evans and Stacy Kaiser a licensed psychotherapist who also worked with Anthony as his personal therapist. This book is amazing! The Flourishing in Faith Co. Facebook community read it together. This book discusses the power that lies at the intersection of faith and counseling as Anthony and Stacey share stories and practical tips to navigate through life's struggles.

The Vibes You Feel: What I've Learned about Life and Relationships through the Holy Spirit

When I saw that Kierra Sheard-Kelly had a new book out, I immediately knew this would be a must read! There is also an accompanying devotion in the Bible App as well. Kierra uses her personal story and Biblical references that encourage the readers for today's world.

Woman Evolve

This is another book club worthy book! If you don't know who Sarah Jakes Roberts is, stop what you're doing and head over to YouTube right now! Sarah is a well known Christian leader and daughter of the one and only Bishop T.D. Jakes. Her testimony is one that touches the heart of our generation, she's really THAT girl. This book takes the story of Eve to guide you through life beyond the failures and mistakes. This book also has a journal, Bible study guide and has a 6 week Bible study DVD.

Crazy Faith: It's Only Crazy Until It Happens

"It's only crazy until it happens" - Pastor Michael Todd. I found Pastor Todd in 2019 at about week 6 of the Crazy Faith sermon series he did at Transformation Church where he is the lead pastor. I was locked in every Monday at work watching the replay from the Sunday service. I learned so much about faith during that series. I say all of that to say, this book is necessary. Only God knew that the following year after that series ended, we'd be hit with a global pandemic. This book walks you through stepping out on faith and learning how to step into purpose and fully trusting God. Faith is a lifestyle and this book equips you for it.
